·Trained the customer maintenance group on DNS procedures to facilitate the handoff from the Sysadmin group.
·Trained new sysadmins on UNIX systems and procedures to transition them into their new roll.
·Lead the sysadmin group's Y2K effort to ensure service levels would be maintained through the year 2000 new year.
·Implemented an enterprise level backup cluster to service 14 NetApp filers.
·Implemented and maintained almost one hundred Solaris servers.
·Migrated UNIX and NT files to NetApp filers in an NFS/CIFS environment.
·Wrote documentation detailing the amalgamation of the Netcom, AT&T WPO, and Metronet platforms to assist in transitioning this process.
